On Thursday 23rd April I went to see THE HOLLIES in Concert at the Town Hall, Cheltenham. I felt that this concert was a bit of a let down as ALLAN CLARKE has gone tone deaf due to the fact he now wears hearing aids, however, I could be wrong about this, and they were probably ear monitors.

During the performance they performed quite a few of their hits like "CARRIE ANNE", "BUS STOP", "HE AIN'T HEAVY, HE'S MY BROTHER", and "JENNIFER ECCLES", as well as performing less well-known tracks like "BUTTERFLY".

I really enjoyed the track "BUTTERFLY" as I did not know this track and the lead vocals were performed by ALAN COATES.

I found the guitar playing and backing vocals of TONY HICKS very good, in fact they were what made the concert ok.

The concert as a whole was very disappointing, so much so that the audience did not even cheer for an ENCORE.
